Liquid complex fertilizers (LCF)

Liquid complex fertilizers (LCF) are fertilizers that are in the form of an aqueous solution and contain two or more nutrients. Usually LCFs belong to the phosphate group of fertilizers. The most common are concentrated liquid complex fertilizers (LCF) containing Nitrogen (N) and Phosphates (P) in a ratio of 1: 3. They are divided into basic and suspended fertilizers (LCF and SLCF), where the main difference between them is the method of production.

Main agronomic advantages:

  • homogeneous content of active substance gives wider possibilities of application in exact agriculture;
  • safety of transportation, storage and application;
  • low losses of active substance during storage and after application;
  • the cost of a set of measures with RCT is lower than during the traditional method of applying solid fertilizers;
  • a higher nutrient uptake rate allows the plant to save per hectare than with traditional technology.
